Since the early 2000s, studies have been carried out on the country's digital television transition. The commission will be using ultra-high frequency television channels from 14 to 51 (470-698 MHz) for the establishment of a DTT service and liberating channels 14 to 20 (470-512 MHz) which are being used for fixed and mobile services.
